What we do

Fife Diet is committed to helping people grow some of their own food, on whatever scale possible, offering support in a number of different ways: • Through publications, e.g. all new members receive one of our beautiful Grow-and-Eat calendars when they join up. • Through work in communities where they support and develop opportunities for people to grow their own food, e.g. in schools across Fife providing them with raised beds and compost facilities; helping to establish Broomhill Community Garden and Allotments in Burntisland and currently working with members of the local community on a new project to build The Kaleyard, a food and wildlife garden in Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy. • Through the Seed Truck, working with 6 community groups across Scotland to enable them to start growing their own food. • Through workshops, e.g. a weekly Kid’s Gardening Club in Burntisland.
